It is truly a blessing to come before you today in this amazing space, a place where faith, education, and community come together to serve a higher purpose.

At Trinity Lutheran Church and School, our mission is clear: to share the love of Jesus. This mission guides everything we do—from worship to education, from outreach to ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all who enter our doors.

​

A key part of fulfilling this mission is our dedicated teachers and staff. They pour their hearts into shaping the minds and souls of our students, providing not only academic excellence but also spiritual guidance and unwavering support. Their commitment and passion make Trinity Lutheran a place where children grow in both knowledge and faith. Trinity students know they are loved for who they are because of where they came from. God created each and every one of us to be unique. As we celebrate our theme verse this year, 1 John 3:1, we see the blessings in each of us, because we are children of God!

Today, I humbly ask for your support. As some may know, our old fire alarm system no longer met safety standards, and without immediate replacement, the Fire Department could have forced us to close the school. Well, if you are old enough to remember Al Michaels famous question at the 1980 Olympic hockey game between the US National team and the Soviet Union, yes, I do believe in miracles! Our old fire alarm system was supposed to last 20 years. People, it lasted 60! Every time the fire department came to inspect us; they were always perplexed as to why it was still working. My answer: God is good!

But it was time to act, so, to ensure the safety of everyone on our campus, we moved forward with the purchasing and installation of our new state-of-the-art fire alarm system, fully trusting that God would provide for us.

​

That is why we are launching the Fire Up Crusaders Campaign to raise $100,000 to pay for this critical investment in safety. Our campaign will run today and for the next 4 weeks.
